IT investment with OH&S focus Businesses Seeking Investment
You will most likely agree that OH&S is a hot topic across Australian business. How would you like to invest in company whose product is attracting interest across a range of industries? The company has developed a unique, easy to use application allowing technicians and trades people in the field to access their central IT systems using wireless devices, such as smart phones and PDAs. The application has several facets including: (1) OH&S risk minimisation through the ability both to access checklists and to create audit trails for compliance purposes; and (2) the ability for technicians to wirelessly record and report job related issues and variations as they happen – resulting in earlier and more accurate billings on customers, in turn leading to improved cash flows. Enquiries about the applications are coming from companies in a number of service areas - electricians, plumbers, facilities management companies – as well as from organisations bidding for government work where work safety is increasingly an issue. The feedback from initial customers is most encouraging. We are looking to raise $500k of equity, ideally from a hands-on sophisticated investor or organisation that can contribute more than just the capital. The equity will be used within the business on early stage development costs. This opportunity will be attractive to companies: (1) that wish to extend their reach or influence into the trade services areas, or (2) are looking for add on products, or to develop additional sales channels for their existing products.
