A marketplace for businesses for sale, from private owners and brokers, with the asking price and the key figures shown up front.
BizExchange is a new marketplace, launched in 2026. It is not connected to the BizExchange business market or the BizExchange Index published between 2006 and 2022.
What BizExchange is
BizExchange is a marketplace for businesses for sale in Australia. Private owners, business brokers and franchisors list businesses and franchise opportunities, and every listing shows the asking price and the key figures up front. Buyers search, save listings and searches, and send enquiries. Each enquiry goes straight to the seller, who replies directly.
How we make money
- Private owners pay a one-off fee to list a business.
- Brokers list free, with no limit, and pay only if they want listings featured. Franchisors pay a monthly plan to list opportunities. Claiming a listing already shown under a broker's name is free.
- Sellers can pay to feature a listing.
- Buyers never pay, and we never take a commission on a sale.

What we are not
We are not a broker, agent or adviser. We do not act for buyers or sellers, value businesses, negotiate, or take part in any sale. See the disclaimer.
Where listings come from
- Private owners list directly. We check every new listing within one business day before it goes live.
- Brokers and agencies add listings by hand, by spreadsheet upload or by a feed from their listing software. The brokerage is named on each one. See for brokers.
- Franchisors list opportunities under their own brand. See for franchisors.
- Broker listings from public sources. Some broker listings are short factual summaries of businesses the broker advertises publicly. Each one names the broker and says its figures are as published by the broker. Enquiries go straight to the broker, who can claim the listing for free or remove it at any time. The BizExchange Asking Price Report is a new quarterly series built only from listings on BizExchange. It reports what sellers are asking, not what businesses sold for.
