How to have a listing removed from BizExchange, how quickly it happens, and what we keep afterwards.

Who can ask
- The broker or agency named on a listing, including listings we summarise from what a broker has published elsewhere.
- The owner of a business that appears on BizExchange.
- Anyone whose personal information, photos or other work appears in a listing without their permission.
- Anyone who believes a listing is false, misleading or unlawful.
Brokers: listings from public sources
- Every enquiry email we send you about one of these listings has a link to remove it. No login is needed, and the listing is hidden as soon as you confirm.
- On the same page you can also remove every other listing shown under your name and stop enquiry emails from BizExchange. We then keep your email address on a list, so listings under it are not added to BizExchange again.
- If you would rather keep the listing and manage it yourself, claim it instead. Claiming is free; see the listing terms.
Listings you manage
If you listed the business yourself, or you have claimed it, you can pause it, withdraw it or mark it sold from your dashboard at any time. If your listings come from a feed, a listing you take down in your listing software is withdrawn once it has been missing from two feed runs.
Everyone else: ask us
- Email support@bizexchange.com.au with a link to the listing (or its title and location), what you want removed and why, and how you are connected to it. We action removal requests within one business day. We may ask for more information to confirm a request.
- Or use Report this listing on the listing page and choose a reason, such as "The information is wrong", "It is no longer for sale" or "This is my listing and I did not authorise it". Reports are reviewed within one business day.
What happens when a listing is removed
- The listing stops appearing in search, on category and map pages, and in the newsletter and alerts, and its page is no longer available.
- We keep a record of the listing and of the request, so the listing stays off the site and is not added again. To have that record deleted as well, see the privacy policy.
If something was removed by mistake
Email support@bizexchange.com.au and we will look at it again.
